We Focus on Saving Lives

“I am only one, but still I am one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something.
And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do.”
-Helen Keller

Be Proactive about Saving Lives with Suicide Awareness

Suicide is a tragedy that befalls many families and friends yearly. Many people have questions about how such a horrific thing could happen. Suicide Prevention Coalition of Monroe County (SPCMC) is on a mission to decrease the suicide rate by providing the Monroe County community with suicide awareness and education through outreach efforts. We also offer suicide counseling and support to survivors mourning the loss of a loved one.

Our work is not easy, but if you want to offer help to those in need, we welcome you to work with us. If you wish to volunteer, all we require is the time to commit and a passion for helping. Contact us for additional details about our services and volunteer opportunities.
